iLax Information Page

iLax is our "Introduction to Lacrosse " program.
iLaxers are generally younger children; Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade.  
iLax sessions are held once a week where they are introduced to some of the skill and game concepts of lacrosse and have an overall fun time! 
Players from our High school and and youth teams come and help out at the sessions which the kids always love.
Generally speaking, ilax sessions run from late April (once it's warm enough outside) thru late May for a total of about 6 sessions.

Some equipment is mandatory:
Stick, helmets, and gloves for boys
Stick and goggles for girls

LHYL does have loaner ilax equipment for use. Just let the coach know prior to the sessions starting.

Parents must register children for iLax. Go to Online Registration page to do so. 

Cost is $30 plus a $25 US Lacrosse membership (for insurance). Fee includes a LHYL practice pinnie that they keep.
